The heart-melting theatrical production Disney’s Frozen The Musical is based on the 2013 blockbuster movie of the same name. The most successful animated film in history, its enchanting world is being brought to life on stage in the West End at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Audiences will be swept away when Elsa and Anna’s story is told with stunning special effects, breathtaking scenery and gorgeous costumes. Both sisters are searching for love – with one struggling to find her voice and control her powers, while the other endeavours to bring her family together for good.

In addition to Elsa and Anna, kids and adults will fall for the other whimsical characters in the kingdom of Arendelle including the iceman Kristoff, Sven the reindeer and Olaf the snowman.

Disney’s Frozen The Musical also features the songs everyone knows and adores from the original Oscar-winning film. From Let It Go and Do You Want To Build A Snowman? to For The First Time In Forever, the expanded score offers some surprises thanks to brand new music from songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Opened on Broadway in March 2018, Disney’s Frozen The Musical ran for 851 performances. Directed by Michael Grandage, it earned Tony Award nominations for Best Musical, Best Original Score and Best Book from Jennifer Lee.

The first international production was launched in Australia in late 2020, with Disney’s Frozen The Musical arriving in London with Grandage at the helm, as well as in Hamburg and Tokyo in 2021.

Called “genuinely moving” by The New Yorker, the West End production of Disney’s Frozen The Musical is an experience not to be missed.

Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, Frozen has now been adapted into an enchanting musical, featuring even more songs, storytelling, and of course, plenty of snowflakes. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience.

See the wintry tale of sisters Elsa and Anna come to life in the Frozen musical, complete with songs written by husband and wife duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Enjoy the film classics such as “Do You Want To Build a Snowman?”, “The First Time in Forever” and “Let it Go”. There are also new songs written for Frozen on stage, including “Hygge” and “Colder By the Minute”.

Can you tell me what the Frozen musical is about? The story takes place in a make-believe land named Arendelle. We initially get introduced to sisters Elsa and Anna before Elsa’s coronation day. Elsa has a unique power that can freeze anything she touches, and she has kept it concealed from others. After becoming queen, Elsa starts to worry about her abilities and flees the kingdom. Anna decides to look for Elsa in her new castle, and on her journey, she comes across Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, as well as a friendly snowman named Olaf.

Do you know the duration of the Frozen musical? The show runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes, which includes a 15-minute interval. Matinee performances start at either 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m., while evening performances start at 5:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets for Frozen The Musical now at London Theatre Tickets.

Please note: Children under the age of 4 (including babes in arms) will not be admitted to the theatre. Frozen is recommended for children aged 6 and up.
